About this notebook

Skysisia started as a paper notebook kept on a balcony: date, time, what the sky looked like, and what the weather did next. Writing it down turned out to be the best way to actually learn the clouds rather than just recognise the pictures.

The notes here are a small selection. There are no forecasts and nothing to buy — only observations, and a plain atlas for anyone who wants to start looking up a little more often.

The name is a made-up word from a child who could not yet say “sky” properly. It stuck.
